<p>On Saturday, the 26th at 12:37 pm, while peacefully at her home in hospice care, Carolen Ann Glover went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a wife to her loving husband Wallis (Wally) Glover of 57 years, and mother to Todd and Lori.</p><p><br></p><p>Carolen was born to Wayne and Velma (Williams) Cravey in El Reno, Oklahoma. She attended Rockwood Elementary and Jackson Junior High School in Oklahoma City. She was a graduate of Capital Hill High School, class of 1960 and was a member of Ozzie’s choir. She became a Christian while in her late teens. Carolen worked at the Skirvin hotel front desk in downtown Oklahoma City and met many movie stars such as Fats Domino and Dick Clark. This is where she met her future husband Wally on a blind date. They married 2 years later on December 15, 1965. Carolen did attend some college classes at Rose State college. She was a member of Country Estates Baptist Church (CEBC) from 1965 until she was unable to attend due to ill health. She was also a member of the JOY class at CEBC.</p><p><br></p><p>She loved to bike ride, water ski, exercise and roller skate. She enjoyed making art by painting with watercolor, acrylic, and oils, drawing with pencil and pens, as well as embroidery, knitting and sewing. Throughout her childhood and young adult years, she fished with her mom and dad at the “fish bank,” at places like Lake Ten killer, Lake Texoma, Lake Fort Cobb and Lake Murray. She taught Sunday school at Country Estates Baptist Church. She was a “cafeteria lady” at many of the local schools. And she was a homemaker and mother to her family whom she loved totally and completely. She was a devote Christian, reading through the entire bible many times during her life. She loved to travel and enjoyed hearing stories from around the world. She shared a love of scary movies and old movies with her daughter Lori. She loved flowers, gardening and art with her granddaughter Brittany. With her grandson Kristian, she loved discussing history. She always loved long talks with her sister June. With her husband Wally, she loved going bowling, golfing and relaxing together. Carolen was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Velma Cravey. She is survived by her husband Wally, her son Todd and his wife Laura, her daughter Lori and her husband Michael, her sister June, her grandchildren Brandon, Amy, Casey, Sable, Brittany and Kristian, great grandchildren Niklaus, Jacob, Beau (Akyah), Aurora, Alister (Jaexdys), Tannin, Nathanael, Theodore, a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 3, 2022, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home at 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. Midwest City, OK 73130 at 2:00 pm with graveside services afterward.
