Carol Ann Vickers, age 83, of Maypearl, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 15, 1939 to parents Alphia Dalma Ingram and Eva Sisly Ingram in Pampa, Texas.

Carol loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart. She was a member of The First Baptist Church Maypearl and worked in children’s ministry leading the G.A.s for over 40 years. Carol loved to travel and enjoyed reading. She was the rock and strength of her family and took great pride in her role as Nanaw and she took the same pride being grandma to everyone in the community.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving Husband of 62 years, Ronald Vickers, Heather Moon and husband Mike, Brandon Sword and Jennifer Schultz, Alyssa Vickers, Aaron Sword, Breanna Kolts and husband Jarrett, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Carol was welcomed in Heaven by her parents, Alphia Dalma Ingram and Eva Sisly Ingram, brother James Ingram, brother Marvin Ingram, son Bryan Vickers, daughter Renee Brown, and son-in-law Russell Brown.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 10-11 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Maypearl with a funeral service to immediately follow. The graveside burial at Oak Branch Cemetery will be for family only.
