MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte, Louisiana on Thursday, December 01, 2022, for Lana Marcantel Gulley, 49, who passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022

Deacon Chuck Ortego will conduct funeral services.

Burial will follow in the Bieber Cemetery.

Lana Marcantel Gulley was born on December 11, 1972, to the late Roland and Barbara Acklen Marcantel.  Lana’s family was her pride and joy, her children were the light of her life.  She was a kind, caring, and compassionate mother, cousin, and friend.  Lana will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Justin Marcantel and Jacob Marcantel; numerous cousins; and dear and special friend, Lisa Fontenot.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland Joseph Marcantel and Barbara Jane Acklen Marcantel; and son, Hunter Trace Gulley. 

Visitation will be held on at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  A rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM on Thursday.
