Anna R. Clanin Obituary

Anna Rose Clanin, 83, passed away with loved ones by her side on November 22nd, 2022 at her home in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Anna, or Annabelle as she was affectionately called, was born on Sept 1st, 1939 in Little Falls, MN to Blanche and Rudolph Lutzke.

After graduating High School she moved to Milwaukee where she met and married Jack. They went on to have 2 Daughters, Mary Lynn and Jacqueline.

She was a devoted Catholic active at Church, volunteered at Nursing homes, and a Foster Mother to many infants for Milwaukee County.

Anne and Jack retired to their lake home in Turtle Lake, WI and later spent their winters in Tempe, AZ where she hosted appreciation dinners for First Responders, put on performances, and was the social butterfly of the park.

She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, entertaining friends and family, cheering on the Packers, and spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She loved dancing, singing, and working for a worthy cause. Anna was never shy, and for her generation, quite outspoken.

Her last few years of her journey with Alzheimer's were spent living with her Granddaughter Jamie (Tony) Chavez and her Great-Grandchildren.

Annabelle was best known for her humor, generous spirit, caretaking, holiday baking, and storytelling.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband Jack Dean, her Granddaughter Ashley Grace, and her brothers Adolph, Jim, Martin, and Richard.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Lynn (Chad), Jacqueline (Darin), Grandchildren Jamie (Tony), Tawnya (Lee), Shawn (Ivana), Great-Grandchildren Chloe, Silas, Iyla, and Esmae, and Sister Barbara (Tom).

If you met Anne you would never forget her and her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed.
