James P. Zompa, age 75, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Kent Hospital.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Vincent and Thelma (DeFusco) Zompa, he was a graduate of Pilgrim High School and The University of Rhode Island. For many years, James lived in Henderson, Nevada before returning to Warwick five years ago. 

Throughout his career, he worked human resources in hospitals and the casino industry.

He is survived by a daughter, Ailish Zompa of Greenbelt, MD; a son, Vincent Zompa of Queens, NY; a brother, Robert Zompa of Newburyport, MA; a sister, Gina Zompa of Warwick; and a grandson, Ocean. He was the brother of the late Raymond Zompa.

James lived a full life and was always good for a laugh and sage advice. His humor and love will be deeply missed.
