VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM 4 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, for Clyde Bordelon, 73, who passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Deacon Ben Soileau will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Griffin Cemetery.

Clyde Bordelon was born on February 27, 1949, in Ville Platte, LA to Murphy and Estelle Guillory Bordelon. Clyde enjoyed spending time outdoors with his grandkids.  He enjoyed making memories with his children and grandchildren while hunting and fishing.  He loved and adored his family.   Clyde will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bordelon; three sons, Paul Bordelon (Pauline), Mike Bordelon (Tracy); and Eddie Bordelon; daughter, Kimberly Blood and husband, Joe; eight grandchildren, Leann, Lauryn, Ainsley, Caroline, Bailey, Ben, Courtney, and Angel; one great grandchild, Bayleigh; brother Carol Bordelon and wife, Christine; and sister, Judy Fontenot and husband, Ferrel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Estelle Guillory Bordelon; and granddaughter, Ashley Bordelon.

At the request of the family, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.  Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be led by Deacon Ben Soileau at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
