<p>Nadra Jean May, passed away to her heavenly home on November 27, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on December 26, 1934, in Cherokee County, Texas to Archie Arthur Jackson and Sophia (Barnes) Jackson.</p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill May; daughter, Teresa Dickson; brother, Kenneth Jackson and sister-in-law, Opal Jackson.</p><p>Nadra worked at the Henderson County Hospital in Athens for 29 years as a cook in the cafeteria. She loved her job and built many lifelong friendships with her co-workers. Nadra loved people and cared for many. Over the years she took several into her home and cared for them when they had no other place to go. She loved the Lord and served him all her days. She was a member of First Baptist Church Malakoff, and was a very active member until she could no longer serve due to her health. When Nadra took her last breath on this earth, and first one in Heaven, she heard her savior say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.</p><p>Left to cherish her memory are sons, Kenny Miller and wife Debbie, Gary Miller, and wife Barbara; daughters, Juanice Allen, Becky Dickenson and, husband Tommy; grandchildren, Jason Miller, Jared Miller, Jessica Windel, Jaime Miller, Nathan Miller, Steve White, Angela Stevens, Barbie Jenkins, Billy Schuler, Stacie Cook, Natalie Dickenson, Matt Dickson, Josh Dickson; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.</p><p>Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, November 30, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on December 1, 2022, 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Malakoff with Bro. Ed Fenton officiating. Burial to follow at Red Hill Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
