Hatfield, IN – Sharon Rose Chewning, 68, of Hatfield, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at her home.

Sharon was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 21, 1954, to the late Glynn and Oletta (Henry) Pierson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Pierson, Charles Pierson, and Gary Pierson.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Chewning, whom she married on December 7, 1971; her son, John G.T. Chewning (Paul Skelton); her brother, Ronnie Pierson;  her half-sister, Nancy Meyers; many extended family members and friends.

Services are 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.

Visitation is 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
