James Richard "Jimmy" Ballard, Jr. age 69 of Pine Hill, AL died November 24, 2022 at Spring Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born September 8, 1953 in Thomasville, AL to James Richard and Mary Ethel Ballard. He was a machine tender for International Paper Co. and a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Twynette Ballard; three sons, James Richard Ballard III (Holli), William Allen Ross (Kristi), and Zackary Alexander Ross (Jessica); brother, Kent Ballard (Lucille); two sisters, Cheryl Wright (Jack), and Judy Barnes (Larry); seven grandchildren, Jaime Ballard, Liam Ballard, Christopher Ross. Landon Ross, Lexi Ross, Grady Ross, and Wyatt Ross.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Burial will follow at Old Liberty Cemetery in Nicholsville, AL.
