<p>NEW BEDFORD-Dennis "Little Dennis" Amaral, 43 of New Bedford, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 unexpectedly at home. Dennis was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. &nbsp;He was the son of Helena (Santos) Amaral and the late Denis M. Amaral and the husband of Elisa (Lara German) Lara Amaral. &nbsp;Dennis was employed by the city of Fall River as a security guard, previously he was employed by St. Anne Hospital. &nbsp;He was a communicant of St. Gabriel of the Archangel Parish. &nbsp;In his leisure time he enjoyed watching football, but most importantly spending time with his family. &nbsp;</p><p>Survivors include his mother: Helena (Santos) Amaral of New Bedford; 1 son: Evan Martin-Amaral of Fall River; 2 daughters: Serena Martin-Amaral of New Bedford and Faith Martin-Amaral of Fall River; sister: Michelle L. Da Costa and her husband Joe of New Bedford; paternal grandmother: Terezinha Amaral of New Bedford; 3 nephews: Zackery Da Costa and his fianceé, Briana, Colin Da Costa and Ashton Da Costa; several aunts, uncles and cousins.</p><p>His Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Gabriel of the Archangel Parish, Tarkiln Hill Road, with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.</p><p>Funeral arrangements were private and entrusted to AUBERTINE-LOPES FUNERAL HOME, 129 Allen St.</p>

NEW BEDFORD-Dennis "Little Dennis" Amaral, 43 of New Bedford, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 unexpectedly at home. Dennis was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident.  He was the son of Helena (Santos) Amaral and the late Denis M.
