Mrs. Eileen M. Zanine, 79, of Oreland, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on November 24, 2022. 

 Born November 2, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, to Edward F. and Elizabeth (Pavky) Dooley.

Eileen was raised in Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.

She loved her family and was a devoted wife of the late Joseph L. Zanine, who died in 2019 after 54 years of marriage. She was predeceased by her son Edward J. Zanine who died in 2018.

Eileen enjoyed her summers down the shore and her days at the beach sunbathing. She loved to cook and bake, especially large holiday meals and family dinners. She enjoyed playing volleyball and running the local volleyball league for many years. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends, seeing the world on any one of her many vacations.

Eileen is survived by her beloved children, Denise Gauss and her husband Robert of Flourtown; James Zanine and his wife Kathy of Hatboro, Maureen Morales and her husband Sebastian of Oreland, and her daughter-in-law Holly Zanine of Hatboro. She is the loving Grandmother of 9, Rachael, Emily, Matt, Danny, Claudia, Allison, Chloe, Edward, and Alexander, and Great Grandmother of 1 Grandson, Chase. She is the devoted sister of Geraldine Wickersham of North Wales, John Dooley of Glenside, Dennis Dooley of Fairbanks, AK, and James Dooley of Horsham.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S Bethlehem Pike Ambler, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Deacon Michael Cuff of St. Anthony of Padua Church officiating.
