Margaret Sue Jones

Margaret Sue Jones, 90, of Hanson, KY, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her residence.

She was born December 3, 1931 to the late George Flener and Maudie Winstead Flener. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Jones; son-in-law, Raymond Davis; along with several brothers and sisters.

Margaret enjoyed sewing, quilting, and going to the lake with her family. She loved NASCAR races, enjoyed UK basketball, and playing in the yard with her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and she always had a good time.

She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Davis of Hanson; her son, Jonny (Staci) Jones of Hanson; brother, Jerry (Barbara) Flener of Hanson; three grandchildren, Scottie (Stephanie) Davis, Johnathan (Jennifer) Jones, and Chesley (Emily) Jones; along with seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Barnett Strother with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Jones, Hunter Davis, Johnathan Jones, Scottie Davis, Chesley Jones, and Jonny Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Harrison Jones.
