Nelvin Reece Hicks was born on October 14, 1958 in Springhill, LA and passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 in Minden, LA. He was a very hard worker and loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family dearly and will missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Hicks; two daughters, Rhonda and husband, Jimmy Cullipher and Windy Hicks and Charles Wells; two grandsons, Corey McCalman, Daniel Dobbins; three granddaughters, Caitlin Cullipher, Kelsie Hicks and Destiny Smith; two brothers, Curtis Hicks and wife, Debbie, Jimmy Hicks; sister, Stella Fischer and husband, Joe; and dearest friends, Andy Stewart and wife Phyllis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Billie Marie Hicks; brother, Billy Hicks; and twin sister, Nelwyn Hicks.
