Rosa Patricio

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully, on Friday November 25th, 2022 with loving family by her side in Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 71.

Born on October 25, 1951 in Patzcuaro, Mexico; daughter of Juan Onofre and Esperanza Patricio. Rosa born, raised and educated in Mexico and came to the Unites States and settled in Waltham 20 years ago.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking but most especially spending time with her family. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Luis Tovar.

Rosa is survived by her devoted & loving children, Esperanza Tovar; Guadalupe Tovar; Luisa Tovar; Cristina Tovar; Luis Tovar; Mariano Tovar; Rosa Tovar; Jose Tovar and Jorge Tovar; her dear siblings Juana Onofre and Gregorio Onofre and 16 cherished grandchildren.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Rosa and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Son Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Monday, November 28th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Parking attendants will be on duty.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Rosa’s life and remember the love and friendship whe shared with others on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Mary’s Church, 145 School Street in Waltham at 10:00 AM.
