Hailey Alaine Rager was born February 14, 2006 to Ashley and Dale Rager Sr, in Ennis Texas. She departed on November 23, 2022. Known to her loved ones as Hailey Bug, she was always smiling. Hailey had an enchanting smile that lit up any room. A fun loving free spirit, she shared a special connection with her family. Hailey was an absolute joy to be around.

She grew up in Waxahachie, surrounded by a loving family and many friends. She garnered the adoration of both of her parents. Hailey was expressive and talented. She was especially skilled at make up and fashion. It was her hope to become an interior designer. Her favorite color was baby blue and she was drawn to butterflies and crystals. She loved all genres of movies and most notably enjoyed Rick and Morty. She also enjoyed all types of modern music. Hailey looked forward to spending time at the beach and in the outdoors. Recently, she stated "she loved the peacefulness of the country".

Hailey is survived by her father, Dale Rager Sr; mother, Ashley Lott and fiance Jacob Cothren; brothers, Dale Rager Jr , Andrew Rager and Cody Buchanan; sister, Brittany Stone; grandparents, Don and Ida Rager, Edwin and Deborah Lott; aunts, Amanda Jones and husband Tom, Meshia Sellers and husband Cole, Carolyn Rosson; uncle, Danny Rager and wife Angie; nieces, Taylor, Skylar, Emory, Ava Leigh; nephew Cayden; cousins, Grayson, Brittany, Brooklyn, Blake, Daniel, Amanda, Evelyn and Royce; beloved friends, Tonya McAfee & Hunter McAfee and her pet snake Missy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie.

Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00PM at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie.
