Nora Marsh was the most amazing woman. Often described by friends and family as warm, kind, loving, funny and joyful. She was the type of person that everybody fell in love with as soon as they met her. Nora was always a woman ahead of her time. As a very young woman, she got her license to drive. Being one of the very first women to have her license, she would often turn heads as she drove down the street. In fact, she was so ahead of her time that she would pick her future husband up for dates because he didn't even have a driver's license yet.

Nora spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her 3 children but she was always a go-getter. When our family moved to San Diego in 1971 to start a new business she became an integral part of its success. She used her business savvy and charm to make Marsh Concession the largest concession supply company in San Diego. She worked right alongside her husband, building and operating the business, starting it together from the ground up. Her older grandchildren had a wonderful time being the first to try new candies before they hit the market.

Nora had a wonderful sense of humor and a natural ability to tell jokes. In fact, various charity groups would call her to perform stand up comedy routines throughout the 80's and 90's in Palm Desert. She loved a good racy joke and loved to email them to her friends. She loved to have a good time, especially watching the occasional Chippendale's show! Her laugh was infectious. It was impossible not to be in a good mood when you were around her.

Nora is survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 15 (almost 16) great grandchildren. She was so very loved and will be fondly remembered by so many friends and family members.
