PHYLLIS JEAN DAVIS, 53 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her home. Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Beatrice (Horn) Mounts. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memory include 2-Children: Brandon Keen and Kaitlin Peck; Brother: Bobby (Beth) Mounts of Raven, VA.

Also, survived by 2-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for PHYLLIS JEAN DAVIS will be conducted Monday, November 28, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at the Mullins Cemetery on Compton Mountain with Kenneth Byrd officiating with burial to follow.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
