JOHN E. FARRELL JR. of Eastampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. He was 77 years of age.

John is the Beloved Husband of Virginia A. (nee Wright) Farrell and the Loving Father of Michael C. Farrell and his wife Tracy of Fishkill, NY and Tina Farrell and her husband Ivan Nieves of Boston, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Devin Farrell and Brooklyn Nieves Farrell and his sister Nancy (Tom) and brothers Tom (Peggy), Donald (Annie), Robert (Ginny), Rich, Jim (Kathy) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born in Berwyn, IL, he is the son of the late John E. and Mildred E. Farrell and has resided in Eastampton for the past 28 years, moving there from Hamilton, NJ. John grew up in Villa Park, IL. After graduating from St. Francis High School in Wheaton, IL, John graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN with a degree in marketing. Commissioned through the Army Officers School program in 1969, his military service included infantry unit commander, 8th US Army, Second infantry division, and he served during the Vietnam War. He is a retired Systems Engineer for Verizon serving the company for 30 years until his retirement in 2001.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church 260 High Street, Mt. Holly, NJ. Interment will follow in the BG Wm Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
