Nely Fortunado Azcarraga, 90, Kokomo, passed away at 5:25 am on Friday November 11, 2022, at her home.  She was born in the Philippines on May 12, 1932, to the late Tito and Paciencia (Orozco) Fortunado.  She married Carlos Azcarraga Sr., and he preceded her in death in 1996. 

Nely loved spending time with her family and took pride in taking care of her home.  She enjoyed gardening and getting together with her “Golden Ladies” before moving to the United States.

Nely is survived by her children, Samuel (Jemima) Azcarraga, Eunice (Tom) Boyd, and Carlos Azcarraga Jr.; grandchildren, Emmanuel (Leslie) Gonzalez, Hannah (David) Ferdinand, David Azcarraga, Elijah Boyd, and Ethan Boyd; great grandchildren, Royce Gonzalez, Jeremy Gonzalez, and Emily Azcarraga; sibling, Remy Salandanan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nine siblings.
