<p>Benja J. Daniels, Jr., was born on January 19, 1976, in Green Point Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.&nbsp;&nbsp; He departed this life on November 18, 2022.&nbsp;</p><p>Benja was the youngest of three children.&nbsp; He was raised on the south side of Brooklyn, known as “Williamsburgh”.&nbsp; He attended high school in South Carolina.&nbsp; In his later years, Benja relocated to Delaware with his family.&nbsp; He worked several jobs as a truck driver.</p><p>Benja was a nurturer, who offered others protection, support, and encouragement, especially to the younger generation.&nbsp; He always encouraged them to stay in school, work and be responsible.</p><p>In his early years Benja played baseball and received several trophies and awards.&nbsp; As he got older, Benja became a father/uncle figure to the youth.&nbsp; They often asked for his advice, but most of all, they respected and accepted his words of encouragement.</p><p>Benja J. Daniels, Jr., also known as “Spunky”, was a devoted father who loved his children, Kareem, Brooklyn, Elijah, Khyeir and Jahsai.</p><p>Benja was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bowles.</p><p>Benja leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted mother, Judy Bowles; sister, Donna Bowles; two nephews, Corey Bowles and Justin Bowles; cousins Brenda Meyers, Barbara Meyers, Linda Bowels, Sherry, Anthony, Darren, Conrad, Harold Lopez, Ossie, Mykia, Robert, Tinisha, Cherokee, Nicole and Claudis,&nbsp;Shakia Bowles, Anthony Bowles, Jr., Shawn Bowles, Melissa, Charlie, Harry, Chrissy, Eric, Theresa and Jermaine.&nbsp;great nephews, Cody Bowles and Moezay Feliciano; adopted nephews, Seth Raines and Maurice Wright; friends, Elisa, Nykia, Shareeka; childhood friends, Charlie, Jazz, Peewee, Webo, Jimbo, Rashon, Jerry, Big Mike, Eric B., Porcho, A.V., Fraze, Diggem, Porte G., Ski, Dustin (Navaja), Mike, Tony, Tanya; and his South 3rd&nbsp;Street family.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Benja J. Daniels, Jr., was born on January 19, 1976, in Green Point Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.   He departed this life on November 18, 2022. 

Benja was the youngest of three children.  He was raised on the south side of Brooklyn, known as “Williamsburgh”.  He attended high school in South Carolina.  In his later years, Benja relocated to Delaware with his family.  He worked several jobs as a truck driver.
