Mr. Quillie G. Jones of San Antonio, FL passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, 5:00 p.m. at Bible Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road Tampa, FL 33624 with Pastor Anthony C. White, Officiating. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, 4519 Edgewood Drive Jacksonville, FL 32219. MASK RECOMMENDED.

 

Quillie was a native Of Jacksonville, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 6 years. He attended Morehouse College, Edward Waters University, Troy University, and Walden University. He was a member of Bible Based Fellowship Church, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, and West Coast Officials Association. He was employed as an Educator, Mentor, and Coach at Stewart Middle Magnet School.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Lakisha Woods-Jones; children, Quiljesaron Jones (Jade), Quortnee Jones, and Samuel Williams; 3 grandchildren, Cairo Jones, Quest Jones, and Samantha Williams; his mentor next to God, his dad, Quillie Lee Jones; sister, Quilnetta C. Jones-West; nephew, Zuri Ngosi West; and other relatives and many friends including members of Bible Based Fellowship Church, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, The West Coast Officials Association, and the staff of Stewart Middle Magnet, and Young Middle Magnet Schools.

 

The visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Bible Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road Tampa, FL 33624. MASK RECOMMENDED.
