Donald Ovide Mercredi

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Ovide Mercredi Jr., late of Wollaston Lake, SK on November 16th, 2022, at the age of 28 years. Donald was born in La Ronge, SK on July 11th, 1994, to Donald Mercredi Sr. & Marie Hugarth. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his father Donald Mercredi Sr; his mother Marie Hugarth; his siblings Michelle, Dylan, Maureen, Dale, & Dion; his nephew Malcolm Mercredi; his godmother Louise Kkailther; his grandmother Mary Flora (George) Kasyon; his uncles & aunts John (Diane), Leon (Lisa), Raymond (Vanessa), Jonas, Vince, Janet, Doris, Veronica, Lena, Janna, Aaron, Johnny, Nancy (Sylvester), Dorothy, Lucy, Doris, Elsie, & Margaret (Rod) Denego; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins. Donald was predeceased by his aunts Jeanette Kkailther, Karen Kkailther, & Keisha; his uncles Nap Mercredi & Jimmy Mercredi; his great auntie Marie Kkailther; his grandfather Angus Kkailther & James Toutsaint; & his grandparents Leo & Judith Mercredi. A Wake Service will take place November 25th – 27th, 2022 at the residence of Marie Hugarth in Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 28th, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the St Adrian Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji Chandamala. The Honourary Pallbearers are Dylan Mercredi, Jordie Benonie, Leon Hugarth, Dave Tsannie, Kirk Kkailther, Gerald Tsannie, Cody Tsannie, Jonas Hugarth, Vince Hugarth, Jared Hugarth, Shane Kkailther, Robin St. Pierre, Darnell Kkailther, Raymond Hugarth, Roger Tsannie, Kyra Kkailther, Justyce Dzeylion, Trent Dzeylion, and all those who shared in Donald Jr.’s life. The Pallbearers are Baba Donald Dad, Tom Hansen, Jonas Hugarth, Pauly Hugarth, Johnathan Charles, & Aaron Kkailther.
