<p>Cornel Ranley C. Black, son of Thomas Laird Black and Verna Susan (Worm) Black was born October 11, 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He departed this life on November 24, 2022 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, one month and thirteen days.</p><p><br></p><p>Ranley was married to his wife Cathy whom he loved and adored dearly until her passing.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Cathy Black.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his four brothers, Stuart Black &amp; wife Christina of Roach, Missouri, Douglas Black &amp; wife Denise of Camdenton, Missouri, Duncan Black of Branson, Missouri, Kelton Black &amp; wife Sharon of West Huntsville, England; one sister, Heather Susan Black of West Midlands, England; a step-daughter, Willa Brown of Camdenton, Missouri; nine nieces, Lindsey Estes, Laura Black, Stacey Hawkes, Kayla Summers, Lexy Estes, Ruth Vaupel, Deborah Black, Miriam Taylor, and Abby Black; five nephews, Aiden Estes, Lucas Estes, Devin Clinton, Dalton Clinton, and Malaki Black. As well as other relatives and many friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Ranley was raised at a young age in the Maskego, Wisconsin area before moving to the United Kingdom. He would complete High School and earn his bachelor’s degree in the United Kingdom before returning to the United States where he would move to his home in Roach, Missouri. Ranley would make the lake his forever home and lived there until his passing.</p><p><br></p><p>Ranley made a profession of faith and was a dedicated member of Climax Springs Assembly in Climax Springs, Missouri.</p><p>In his spare time Ranley loved to buy, sell and trade many things and did so with a passion. If a person was ever in need of something in particular, Ranley would most likely have three of them. He loved in particular to buy, sell, and make jewelry. Often known for his many gold necklaces he would wear; he absolutely loved to sing and play the piano and he did so with excellence, glorifying the Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Ranley was a quiet man but had a knack for having some of the corniest “Dad jokes” ever known that gave you no choice but to laugh.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a loving and a caring step-father, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of life will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Climax Springs Assembly Church in Climax Springs, Missouri.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
