Lou Segale

<p>Lou Segale, son of William &amp; Mary Segale, passed away at the age of 79 on November 18, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Lou was a proud graduate of Archbishop Riordan High School (class of 61) where he supported and volunteered at athletic events, established the Segale Family Scholarship and was the recipient of the Chaminade Award. A graduate of the University of San Francisco (class of 65), Lou taught mathematics for 36 years, most of them at Raoul Wallenberg Traditional High School.</p><p><br></p><p>Lou cheered on his nieces and nephews and his “greats” at all of their sporting adventures. He was an avid golfer and had fun participating in the activities of the Isola Cronies Association.</p><p><br></p><p>Lou carried on Italian family traditions highlighted by his wonderful panettone, delicious cookies, handmade ice cream and famous Christmas lasagna.</p><p><br></p><p>Lou is survived by his brothers William (Judy) &amp; Robert (Jean) Segale; nieces, Lisa (Gabriel) Negrete, Mary &amp; Kimberly Segale and nephews, Darren &amp; John (Diana) Segale. He is great uncle to Gianna, Nico, Dario, Mia, Demitrius, Adelina &amp; Ariosa.</p><p><br></p><p>Lou was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Parish and a 50-year member of the NSGW. He was always there whenever anyone needed help or assistance. He will be greatly missed.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass at St. Paul’s Church, 221 Valley St, San Francisco, on December 7, 2022 at noon.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests spiritual bouquets, donations to the Segale Family Scholarship at Archbishop Riordan High School (175 Frida Kahlo Way, San Francisco, CA 94112) or donations to your favorite charity.</p>
