Frances Beliew Cheek of Stuttgart (formally of Humnoke) passed away on Nov. 22, 2022.   She was born on January 24, 1942 to Gracie Parnell Beliew and Eddie Lee Beliew.  Her mother married Samuel Cochran in 1946 after her father was killed in World War II in 1945.   “Pa Sam” was a loving father to Frances for thirty-two years.    She grew up in the Hamilton Community of Lonoke County.

She married Johnny Cheek in 1958.   Together they raised their four children in Humnoke.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Eddie Cheek.

She is survived by three of her children:  Allen Cheek (Staci) of Stuttgart, Phyllis Newton (Rick) of Stuttgart, and Kimberly Sullivan (Tommy) of Cabot along with her daughter-n-law Terrie Cheek of Hamilton.  She was affectionately known as “Nanny Fannie” by 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by her special “sissy” , Shirley Beliew Garrison Smith of England.

She enjoyed  crafting and spending time with her family. 

Visitation  will be held at 1:00 pm at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke AR on Monday, November 28th.  Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
