Obituary
On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Jeanne Marie Follman, 73, a beloved mother, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep. Born to Anthony Follman and Della Flanagan, Jeanne grew up in the St. Kilian’s parish in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Jeanne worked for Bell Telephone, becoming a pioneer in the then-nascent computer programming industry. Jeanne loved family, friends, painting, writing, wine, and the divine. Jeanne authored several books about the Internet and Thomas Aquinas. She is survived by her sister Loretta, best friend Judith (Phil), nephews Anthony (Ashley) and Gregory (Soledad), honorary nieces Erin (Daniel) and Lauren (Alysha), daughters Elizabeth (Christophe) and Clare (John), and grandchildren Charles, Sophie, and Alexandra. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1, at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
