Jerry Martin Adams, 69, of the Babcock Center, Columbia, S.C., passed away, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the center. Born in Camden, S.C., he was a son of the late William Robert Adams and Zoe Gay Adams Truesdale.

Jerry is survived by his siblings, Robert Adams and his wife, Young, Rhonda Carnes and her husband, Dwight and Randall Lee Truesdale and his wife, Elaine; nephews and nieces, Paul Adams, Dayna Carnes, Nathan Truesdale, Elicia Murtha, Doug Bailey, Kim Sheorn, Shawn Truesdale, Jill McKay, Suzanne Evans and Kaitlyn Nelson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Zoe “Sue” Dease and Sandra Truesdale and a nephew, Elliott Carnes.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jerry may be directed to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10019.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in Kershaw City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends in the cemetery following the service.
