Gladys C. Blanton Ruggles, 95, of Millersport, OH., formerly of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Thursday, November 22, 2022. She was born in Vanceburg, KY April 22, 1927 a daughter of the late David Marvin Blanton and Alice Florence Stone Blanton.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Earnest Earl Ruggles; one daughter, Anita Louise Maynard; three sons, Michael Lee Ruggles, Earnest Earl Ruggles JR., and Gary Wayne Ruggles

Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Rita (Mike) Maynard of New Carlisle, OH and Terri (Ken) Grace of Buckeye Lake, OH; eleven grandchildren, Sherri (Terry) Timmons of Athens, GA., Kelly (Aaron) Taylor of Cincinnati, OH., Stephanie (Ryan) Price of Medway, OH., Alice (Chris) Taylor of Wheelersburg, OH., Ed (Stephanie) Paul of McDermott, OH., Rusty (Beth) Ruggles of Minford, OH., April (Danny Davis) Ruggles of West Portsmouth, OH., Tom (Amanda) Ruggles of Portsmouth, OH., John (Samantha) Ruggles of Portsmouth, OH., Emily (Jack Allen) Grace of Cincinnati, OH., and Natalie (Jaxon) Whitford of Buckeye Lake, OH. Along with 21 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Kevin Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Waring Cemetery in Garrison, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral Monday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
