Shirley Mary Mattinas
<p>Shirley Mattinas, age 54, passed away on November 23, 2022 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Constance Lake First Nation, she enjoyed making quilts, sewing by hand, and making baby blankets for newborns. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. </p><p><br></p><p>Shirley is lovingly remembered by her children: Diana, Krisha, Tia, Jara, Ricky, and Keenan; grandchildren: Taylor, Kristine, Ava, Cameron, Skylar, Matthew, Bella, Jordyn, and Charlie; many siblings, mother Rita Mattinas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. </p><p><br></p><p>She was predeceased by her father Thomas Mattinas, sisters Sandra and Agnes Mattinas; brothers Tommy Bruce Mattinas, and nieces Tinisha Wesley and Keesha Mattinas. </p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Hall in Constance Lake First Nation.
