Joan Snow Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Born in Bras d'Or, on Oct 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Melinda “Ninny” (Day) Ross.
Joan is survived by the love of her life, Joseph Snow, her daughters, Dianna (Chad), Dorothy (Jonathan), and her son Joe (Sabrina). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored with all her heart, Kristen, Brad, Emily, Nick, Declan, Brody, and a special friend, Emily's mother, Angela. Joan is also survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Joan was a prankster. She loved to laugh even when she was the butt of the joke. She may be gone from this world, but her light will continue to shine as stories of her life continue to amuse and delight generations to come.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses in the ER department, including the nursing staff on 4B of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Joan’s family will receive visitors on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 1 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will take place at 2 pm in the funeral home.
