Frank S. Schomp, Sr. died on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Merry Heart Health Care Center in Succasunna. He was 94. Born and raised in Netcong, NJ he lived there for 46 years before moving to Pennsylvania for 35 years, returning to New Jersey and settling in Village Green, Budd Lake.

Frank served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951 - 1952.  While enlisted, he married the love of his life, Helen Raber, on June 6, 1951.

Following his service time, he worked as a Budget Analyst at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., NJ prior to his retirement. Frank was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stanhope since 1949 where he served as a Deacon and an Elder. He also served as an honorary fireman for Netcong Fire Co #1. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and drinking wine with his son-in-law and 'pal', Dock.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen Raber Schomp in May of 2009; and his son, Larry Lloyd Schomp in June of 1984.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathi Schomp (Dock Heath); his son, Frank S. (Bonnie) Schomp, Jr.; a grandson, Frank (Jennifer) Schomp, III;  two granddaughters: Danielle and Kristina Heath; and great-grandchildren: July Schomp and Frank Schomp, IV.

Private services were entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St, Netcong NJ.  Private burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
