BROOKS, Lisa Ann 1964-2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Brooks at the age of 58. Lisa passed away at Hospice Niagara on November 22, 2022 after a hard battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Joe Hilberdink (Dallas) and the late Barb Best (Walter). Lisa is survived by her devoted partner, Jerry Dumanski. Loving mother of Mark and Michael (Sara). Stepmother to Jacob, Jared and Riley. Cherished and proud Grandma to Hailey, Joseph, Michael, Lily, Harley, Bonnie and Amber. Dear sister to Tracy Peat (Mark) and 7 stepsiblings. Fondly remembered by many friends.

Lisa will be forever remembered as a hard worker and family oriented. Coming in a close second to her love for her family was her passion for gardening and house plants, she was happiest surrounded by plants to care for. Selfless in nature, Lisa was always willing to help anyone in need. We are very grateful for her nurses and Hospice Niagara staff for all their support and compassion during the difficulties of Lisa’s illness brought for both, her and her family. We will never forget the kindness you all showed. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

In accordance with Lisa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in Spring 2023. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice Niagara.
