<p>“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heaven”&nbsp; Ecclesiates 3:1 </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>A time to be born: Issac Stinson, The son of the Late Mrs. Mary Lue Fisher Stinson, was born July 12, 1955 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. </p><p>A time to die: Issac departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in Cross, South Carolina. Meeting him at the gates are his siblings that preceded him in death* 2 Sisters -Mary Ruth Hollman and Venda Stinson. 4 Brothers- James Stinson Jr, James Stinson, Tommy Stinson, and Joe Fisher. </p><p>A time to learn: Issac Stinson, who was affectionately known as “Catfish” grew up in the Cross community and attended the public schools there. </p><p>A time to plow: Catfish was employed as a rodbuster over 30 years. During this time, he was employed with Bob Cook Rebar Construction, Taylor Brother, TL James, Tyson Rebar and Century Inc.&nbsp; In lasting contributions, he was instrumental in building the Mark Clark Expressway, Wando River Bridge and James Island Expressway. </p><p>A time to play: Catfish was known for his love of family and sense of humor. He was the family “Mr. Fix-it” and did whatever he could to help anyone in need. He left a lasting impression to all that met him. He loved family, music, dancing and food. </p><p>A time to multiple:&nbsp; As a token of God’s love and faithfulness, Catfish is the father of 2 daughters.&nbsp; To further grow the promise of God, he has 4 grandchildren. </p><p>A time to mourn: He leaves to cherish beautiful memories his 2 daughters- Monicka Stinson and La’Vesha Stinson of Boston, MA; 4 grandsons- DeVante Stinson, Xavier Fairweather, Romel Williams and Lamare Stinson of Boston, MA; 4 sisters- Bertha L. Stinson, Cross, SC, Viola(Ulysses) Carter, North Charleston, SC Gracie Stinson and Linda Stinson, of Wabasso, FL; 5 brothers- Sam Fisher of Cross, SC, Alfert (Darlene) Stinson of Lancaster, SC, Roy Stinson, Craig Stinson, and Tom Stinson of Wabasso FL; 1 sister-in-law Barbara Fisher of Ridgeville, SC. 1 “favorite niece- Lubertha Stinson and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. </p><p>Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home.
