Hattie Elaine Tucker was born on June 20, 1947, to the late Joe Morris and Nylene Johnson. Hattie was the first born of eight children.

She professed her life to Christ and joined Bethlehem Baptist church at an early age where she remained a faithful member until her health declined. She was a faithful member of missionary society, TCDC, Sunday school member, and prayer band leader for bible class.

She married B.W Crum June 4, 1964, and in this union one child was born. On May 13, 1976, Hattie married Ollie Tucker and in this union one child was born

Hattie was a devoted CNA and hospice aide for 12 years at NMMC Home Health. She also worked at Tippah County Hospital. She cared tremendously for her patients and loved ones. She worked at Pep Industries for many years until it closed.

She leaves to cherish her life; Her children: Kelvin Crum, Lisa (Michael) Prather, Amy (Jackie) McKenzie all of Ripley, MS. Her grandchildren: Keshia Crum of Memphis, TN, Martin Crum of Ripley, MS, Denisa (Jordan) Yarbrough of Memphis, TN, Michael Prather, Keldric Crum, Trevor McKenzie, and Mallory Prather all of Ripley, MS. Her siblings: Helen (Charlie) Ratliff, Frankie Lee (Sherri) Johnson of Tiplersville, MS, Colene (Willie) Prather all of Falkner, MS, Jeanette (Cecil) Brown of Middleton, TN, Clifford Johnson of Ripley, MS, Carl Johnson, and Polly (Mack) Peterson all of Tiplersville, MS. 3 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband B.W Crum, her nephew Kerry Johnson, and her Great-nephew Ethan Prather.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2022, from 12pm - 6pm with the family present from 4pm - 6pm at Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley, MS. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11 am at Bethlehem MBC in Falkner, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Ruckersville Cemetery in Ripley, MS.
