James “Jim” R. Ritter, 74, of Rock Creek, OH, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday morning, November 22nd, 2022.  He was born in Cleveland, OH on April 28th, 1948 to the late Robert E. and Wanda (Rajecki) Ritter. Jim later married the love of his life and best friend, Judith Welsh.

He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, Bratenahl policeman and volunteer fireman for Hartsgrove.  He found his vocation as a die maker but loved wood working, cooking, photography and computers as a retiree.

Jim will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 48 years, Judy; children, Kenneth J. Ritter, Donna (Hans) Halfwassen, Robert M. (Renee) Ritter; grandchildren, Preston (Tara) Ritter, Miranda Ritter, Hans Halfwassen, Maren Halfwassen, Rosa Ritter; and many friends.  

He is preceded in death by his parents.
