Pauline Lunsted Obituary

Pauline was a devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this earth to join her Lord and savior on her 101st year, Nov. 21st, 2022.

Pauline was born to Nicholas and Francis Mula in the RM of Invermay, Saskatchewan and was the 3rd eldest of 8 children. Pauline is survived by her daughter Gwen Barker (Bryan), grandson Jason (Charis), sister Ann Colville of Edmonton, brother Rudy Mula of Halifax, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline met her late husband Martin (deceased in 2003) where they both worked in Dauphin, Manitoba. After his passing, there wasn’t a day she didn’t miss him and grieve his loss. He was the love of her life, and she looked forward to the day when she would join him again.

Pauline was a devout Christian and a member of Grace Bible Church. Unfortunately, COVID came along and she was not able to attend regularly. Still, she prayed every day, kept in touch through faith-based television programs and read her bible, maintaining her faithfulness to the end!

Pauline was a talented seamstress and worked many years at the local dry cleaners. She was often asked to repair, fix, mend, and sew for friends and neighbors, and cheerfully obliged! Her skills extended to crafts of all kinds such as quilting, needle work, flower arrangement, art, painting, and gardening.

Pauline resided @ Spruce Manor for over 10 years, enjoying friends, playing games, baking cakes, and celebrating special occasions with fellow residents. This was a wonderful time in Pauline’s life where she felt the support and care of those around her and was deeply thankful for each one of them. Pauline enjoyed a good laugh and would make friends wherever she went.

Pauline loved to travel and vacations with Martin across Canada provided special memories she frequently recounted. Together they frequently traveled to Saskatoon to visit their daughter and their grandson, Jason, who meant the world to them. Later in life Pauline spent some of each summer and winter with her daughter and family in Saskatchewan.

A small graveside service was held on Nov. 25th, 2022.

A celebration of Pauline’s life will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11:am from the Grace Bible Church in Dauphin, MB with Pastor Richard Heppner officiating.

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Pauline may be made to a charity of one's choice .
