Ella Mae Hill Obituary

Winston E. Foster was born June 6th 1945. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Norman and Josephine Foster. Winston left Jamaica at the age of 18 to come to the United States where he attended college at the Ohio State University.

He earned his degree in engineering. Winston later became a citizen of the United States of America. Winston loved life and enjoyed fixing things hence he was self-employed as a remodeler where he used his talents to help remodel his church which he loves so much; Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church,  where he served as a trustee while he attended. Additionally Winston worked at TARPS as a driver,  and Senior Nutrition Center where he delivered meals to those in need until his health no longer would allow.

Winston was married to his wife Sheila for 30 years. They were best friends and love to debate favorite TV shows. He likes cowboys and she liked the big bang theory which he thought was ridiculous and silly. Sheila would catch him laughing in spite of himself. He liked to look at wood and she did not care anything about wood let alone looking at it. Winston  loved to sing but didn't know all the words, Sheila knew all the words but couldn't sing a lick. They complimented each other. Winston never met a stranger.

In their blended family they had a total of four children, two daughters Stephanie (Jeremy Sr) Kill of San Diego California,  Nadine Foster of Kingston Jamaica. Two sons Sean (Sarah) Woodson of Troy, Ohio, and Lamar Woodson of McComb, Ohio. They had 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 4 god-children. Winston had several special friends in addition to numerous other family members and friends who loved and cared for him dearly. Special thanks to Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church and Heritage Village of Waterville the Memory Care Center; Parkside Unit, for the care and attentiveness shown to Winston. Thanks to all the comprehensive teams of care as well.

Winston leaves behind to mourn his wife of 30 years Sheila, all of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, god-children, family special friends and friends.
