<p>It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Joan Lucille Giroux (nee Grenier) 86 years at her residence on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. She has joined her beloved husband of 68 years in order to share the upcoming Christmas with him. </p><p><br></p><p>Beloved wife of René Giroux predeceased December 2021. Loving mother of Helen (Leo predeceased), Monique (Guy), Suzanne, Richard (Joanne), Cookie (Gaetan), Luc (Nana), Lynne and predeceased by Diane and Laurier (Joanne). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Guy, Paul, Lise, Julie, Lee-Anne predeceased, Angela, Natalie, Shane, Patrick, Joey, Marc, Diane, Eric, Danielle, Pascale, Joyce, and Renée and her 19 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Grace Grenier (nee Desloges) and siblings Theresa, Joe and Robert. Dear sister of Mildred (Laurent predeceased), Carole (Paul predeceased), Mary (Yvon), John (Carol), and Diane (Bob). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial mass will be held at St. Jacques Church 46 Cote Blvd, Hanmer, Ontario on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at 11:00 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with internment alongside her husband in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
