Oliver Harris
<p>Oliver Harris, Jr passed from this life on February 12, 2022 following sudden illness and brief hospitalization at Toledo ProMedica Hospital. He was born in Toledo, OH on January 13, 1957 to parents Oliver Sr. and Bertha Harris. He married his high school sweetheart, Reosa Harris, on May 31, 1980. They enjoyed many wonderful years together and raised their family in Toledo, OH. Oliver briefly worked at the University of Toledo before joining the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department in September 1985, where he was employed until his retirement in March 2018. Oliver enjoyed caring for and cooking for his family, spending time with his two grandchildren, as well as the pleasures of a good cigar. </p><p><br></p><p>Oliver is lovingly survived by his wife Reosa Harris; son Terrill (Liz) Harris; daughter Ashley Harris; grandchildren Nora and Myles Harris; sister-in-law Diane (John) Gundogdu; sisters Olivee Tucker, Odessia Autman, Christine Caldwell, Yvonne Frazier and Vera Ellis; special nieces Cassandra (Calvin) Harris-Skinner and Deb (Raynard) Armstrong; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Oliver Harris Sr; and his sisters Alma Ulis and Marie Harris.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 3-5pm at House of Day Funeral Home, at 2550 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607.
