Lynn Ann Marie Coachman Obituary

Lynn Ann Marie Coachman, 56, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 18, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Lynn was born on March 13, 1965, to Stella and Robert Peyton in Toledo, Ohio.

After graduating from Thomas A. DeVilbiss High School in 1974, Lynn went on to study Cosmetology at Huron Beauty College. After graduation, she landed her first job as a beautician.

In 2014 Lynn met her fiance, Mark Fayson, and they were to wed October 15, 2022, going on to have five children, Latoya Searcy, Marshall Hubbard, Latrice Searcy, Kenneth Coachman, and Trina Searcy. When Lynn had Latoya, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Mama Lynn excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives, whether that was continuously opening the door to her goddaughter, Tracey Toney, through difficulty, or taking care of her grandbabies. Through passion, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Mama Lynn was a passionate, organized home decorator, and when she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her kitchen creating family meals so big that the neighbor's neighbor was guaranteed a plate. She loved to help and give to the less fortunate.

We will miss her greatly. Lynn was predeceased by her mother and father, Stella and Robert Peyton; brothers, Donald Coachman, Clark Coachman, Robert Peyton, and Chad Peyton. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Peyton; daughters, Latoya Searcy, Latrice Searcy, and Trina Searcy; sons, Marshall Hubbard and Kenneth Coachman; grandchildren, Jamie, Chad, Heaven, Saverio, Dasmine, Xavier, Aaliyah, and Myking Searcy, Shamahaia Flounder, Jeremiah, and Shawn Searcy, Shamaya Moore, Aristotle, Legacy, and Nova Hubbard, Miracle, Kenneth Jr., Anika, Anna, and Antonio Coachman; and goddaughter, Tracey Toney.

The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to The House of Day. There will be a funeral service/memorial/celebration of Lynn Ann Marie Coachman’s life on December 28, 2021, beginning at 4 p.m. at The House of Day.
