<p>Ms. Dorcas Ann Stephens passed away at Toledo Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born on June 20, 1961, to Anna Mae Stephens and Andrew J. Stephens, both preceding her in death.</p><p><br></p><p>Dorcas was a lifelong Toledo resident and graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School Class of 1979. She was a member of Restoration Free Ministries church and served as an Usher and Sunday School Teacher for the children’s ministry. She enjoyed serving and praising God and would shout out at any given moment “Hallelujah!” She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and made sure that they were in church, with her, learning about God. As part of her daily regimen, Dorcas also enjoyed working out in the gym at the Thomas M. Wernert Center.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her sister, Andrea Lynn Stephens. She leaves to cherish her memory; sister, Annette Edwards; brother Gill Guyton; children, Maiesha Stephens, Dorcas “Mook” Stephens, Da’Quze Stephens, Delrico Stephens; grandchildren, Antwan Phillips Jr., Anestie Brazzel, Kelis Williams, Donaya Barnes, Maion Stephens, Brandon Awls, Stephen Turner Jr., Princess McGee, Maiia Layson; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Brazzel, Sean Brazzel; and a special friend Vincent Greer, and a host of other family and friends.</p>
