Jonathan Allen Warren Obituary

Jonathan Allen Warren, AKA "Jon (to his family)" AKA "Jae Dub (to his friends)", 37, who was born on July 7, 1984, to Talven L. Warren and Brenda F. Lewis in Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 19, 2021 due to medical complications.

While he was baptized at the age of 5, and again later, he sometimes drifted from the church, but was always believing in GOD and having faith in his soul.

He attended McKinley Elementary, Robinson Jr. H.S., and graduated from Rogers High School in 2003. He also attended Owens Community College and Barber School.

Jonathan held various positions before becoming a self-employed businessman. He had a real passion for sales and rose up to become a top sales director in his private equity company.

He loved spending time with his family and close friends. With dedication, and hard work, he was a devoted girl dad, who loved and cherished his only child, Sophia.

He had a generous heart and genuinely beautiful, infectious smile with pearly whites. One of his main highlights was having a roasting session with whomever dared. His famous words would be " I'll light you up". He always proclaimed to be on the top of his "A" game - saying: I got the best of both sides, I'm a "beast" and a "finesser". When it came to his commitment, he was the best.

Now, that his soul has ascended to heaven, I can imagine GOD saying to him: Come on, I heard you were pretty good at having roasting sessions. How about we have one of those roasting sessions. But, be careful- Cause, "I'll light you up". His response: aww you got me. He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Allen Lewis, Jr., his paternal grandparents, Bishop Clifford Warren, and Faye Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Brenda Lewis; father, Talven (Linda) Warren; grandmother, Ethel Lewis; daughter, Sophia Warren; sister, Marlisa Warren; brother, Talven Highsmith; nieces, Christina Menifield, Faith Highsmith, Tanija Pryor, and Tiara Medley; and a host of loving and special cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

May GOD forgive him of his sins, and bestow mercy upon his soul for any shortcomings. May his soul rest in eternal peace. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
