Sawyer Lane Deese “Saw” age 19 of Jay, Florida, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Sawyer was born on February 4, 2003 and grew up surrounded by his loving family. He was a 2021 graduate of Jay High School. He was employed by Premier Pipeline Construction & Services as a Pipeline Operator/Technician. Sawyer enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, duck hunting, dove hunting, bass fishing, creating music beats, and video gaming. To know Sawyer was to love Sawyer and you always knew he loved you. Sawyer touched many lives with his kind heart and loving hugs.

Sawyer is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lee Deese; uncle, Daniel Deese.

Sawyer is survived by his parents, David and Amber Deese; brother, Cooper Deese; sister, Carrington Deese; a special little girl, Paisley Harigel; grandparents, Timothy “T-Don” and Opal Branch, Gail Deese; aunt, Chasity Reid (Randy Sims); cousins, Tori Brown (Joe), Blake Reid (Morgan), and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends that Sawyer loved very much.

Pallbearers: David Deese, Cooper Deese, Blake Reid, Bryce Preston, Parker Weekley, Dutch Burkhead, Nolan Hawthorne, Brenton Eister, and Ryan Eister.

Honorary Pallbearers: Carrington Deese, Madisen Casey, Ady Sheppard, Heath Marshall, Andrew Diamond, Josh Daugett, Justin Daugett, Jeremiah Daugett, Colby Odom, Zach Carnley, Baylie Odom, Allie Odom, and The Jay High School Class of 2021.

The visitation will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church, 14047 S Alabama Street, Jay, FL, on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5pm-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1pm. Burial to follow at Cora Baptist Church.
