Glen Dale Whitfield, age 58, was born to Sammie Alexander and Catherine I. Whitfield-ZeZe on June 3, 1963. He departed this life on Monday, October 11, 2021, at his home.

Glen attended Toledo Public Schools. He had a passion for drawing and was good at his other favorite pastime, watching his favorite teams play, the Michigan Wolverines and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Glenn liked helping others if he could. He also loved spending time with his his family and friends.

He will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Nateasha Shantett Smith; maternal grandparents, Louis Whitfield and Beatrice Walker; paternal grandparents, Guy Alexander and Ophelia Bell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Catherine Whitfield-ZeZe; father, Sammie Alexander (Jenette); daughter, Kaneasha M. Law; son, Malachi Mays; sisters, Deborah A. and Miriam M. Whitfield, of Toledo, Ohio, Dorothy Chambers, of Miami, Florida, Terry D. Whitfield, of Nashville, Tennessee, five uncles, seven aunts, 15 nieces and nephews, 48 great nieces and nephews; two favorite cousins, Mary J. Moore and Bruce Hutchinson; special friend, Debbie Taylor and a host of family and friends.
