Ramos Miller Obituary

Mr. Ramos Miller was born November 27, 1943 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas with a fraternal twin brother, Amos to the late Virgil and Verta Martin Miller. Ramos had twelve siblings wherein seven sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.

Ramos graduated high school from the Monticello Public School District in Drew County Arkansas. He continued his desire to learn by taking various continuing educational classes ranging from electronic repair to computer classes throughout his life. He enjoyed purchasing and repairing old cars.

Ramos gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Southern Missionary Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio until his death. He loved the Lord and he served as a Trustee.

Ramos retired from Daimler Chrysler Jeep and last worked post-retirement at Jack’s Men’s Wear. He worked part time for a local law firm as a runner, and he was the best dressed and friendliest Greeter at Walmart for a while. Ramos was known to have always dressed neatly from head to toe, matching all items at all times with immaculate creases and shiny shoes.

Ramos was a loving and kind man. His family was his top priority. He did not miss any special events such as graduations, weddings, birthdays, and family reunions. The family could always count on Ramos to be there. Ramos was “the special uncle” to all of his nieces and nephews, and they loved him dearly. He traveled near and far to support them. Ramos loved his grandchildren and shared a special relationship with them. He showed up to all events whenever possible from birthday celebrations, graduations, parades, band concerts, musicals, plays, baseball, basketball, and soccer games, and he never missed a Grandparents’ Day or a dance recital. The students from preschool throughout high school called him “Grandpa Ray.”

Ramos was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Verta Miller, siblings, Marie Daniels, Helen Fisher, Geneva Tribbet, Annette Redmond, Lee Morris Miller, Clinton Miller, Rozelle Duckworth, Claudell Goree, Napolean Miller, Amos Miller and Sarah Collins, and former spouses Lonnie Jean Beach Miller and Faye Miller.

Ramos leaves to cherish his memory a son, Marvin (Miller) Stafford of Toledo, Ohio, four grandchildren, LaShonda Wells, Dominique Stafford, Devon Perry, and Arielle Brailey, three great grandchildren, five loving stepsons and four loving stepdaughters, only surviving sibling, Annie Miller Curtis of Las Vegas, NV, friend Janice Gayle, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.

He was a friend to many and would gladly help others. He never met a stranger and will be truly missed.
