Lanna Waters transition quietly and peacefully on September 30, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Lanna was born in Toledo, Ohio to Daphne Tyree and Lancing Clifford Taylor on February 23, 1974.

She went to school at Bowser High School. She worked as a Hair Stylist for Reality Nails and Hair for over 20 years. Lanna had a loyal clientele and people would come from all over to get their hair cut by her. She was a master cutter with scissors. But Lanna's favorite job was to be the best mom to her children and "Hot Lanna" to all of the kids in the family. Lanna loved the kids. She also loved to listen to music, dance, and have a good time. She was the life of the party. Her favorite singer was Gerald Levert. And let's no get started on her cooking. Lanna could throw down in the kitchen. If you ever had a chance to taste her cooking, you understood why she called herself " Lanna Flay" named after top chef Bobby Flay. From neck bones to egg rolls, to pickling anything she could get her hands on. The running joke was that Lanna would pickle you if you let her. She was always cooking for he loved ones and watching cooking shows on the Food Network. She was also the most generous person you will ever meet. Lanna had a heart of gold and would empty her pockets to make sure other people were good.

Lanna was preceded in death by her first child and only son Lansing Waters, father; Clifford Taylor, grandfather; Hosey J. (Lucille "Red") Gullattt Jr., grandmother; Sarah L. Sanders, and Uncle; Daryl Gullatt.
