Haven Lynnett Yerke

<p>Haven Lynnett Yerke was called home to Our Lord and Savior September 12, 2021 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio after battling ovarian cancer. Her beloved husband, Michael, was by her side during her transition. Haven was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 11, 1981 to her parents Dieshell Ottis Williams and Peggy Autry. She was their only child. </p><p><br></p><p>She was a Libbey Cowboy and graduated from Libbey High School in 1999. Haven spent some time at Hiram College in Cleveland and spent 4 years serving in the United States Navy, where she studied nuclear reactors. After her service in the Navy, Haven returned to Toledo and obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and pursued a career in cooking. Haven had a passion for food and was able to make any dish from any region in the world to perfection. She also loved baking and baked some phenomenal cakes.</p><p><br></p><p>Haven is survived by her husband, Michael, her children, Julien, Michaela and Karl as well as her parents Dieshell and Peggy. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at House of Day, 2550 Nebraska Ave., Toledo, Ohio. Viewing will take place Wednesday, September 22, 2021 between 7 pm and 9 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 12 pm to 1 pm (pre-service begins at 11 am). Repast (wake) will be held at Ventura’s Mexican Restaurant, 7742 W. Bancroft St (about 2 miles W of I-475) in Toledo from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts are suggested to sponsor a brick in the Kobacker House Memory Garden in Haven’s name. Gifts may be sent to OhioHealth Hospice Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214 or online at https://foundation.ohiohealth.com/programs/hospice-giving.
