Sherry Jean Lee was born on June 7, 1962 to Ben and Edeltha Barnett. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Scott High School. In 1986, she married the late Rodney Edward Lee Sr. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, LaTrina Lee; son, Brandon Lee; her parents, sister, Earnice (Sister) Brenson; and brother, Lloyd Cole.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Sherry was called to eternal rest on August 25, 2021. Sherry enjoyed cooking, getting her hair and nails done, and spending time with her family but most of all she was a Daddy's girl. She will be missed by all who knew her. Sherry leaves to cherish her memory loving daughters, Shimeako Cole, Andriena, Edwana, Serina (Clarence), Tawana, and Shawana Lee; son, Rodney Lee Jr; sister, Stella (Lizzie) Barnett; grandchildren, Mario Purifie Jr, Ta'Nasia Lee, Jimmie Ridley, Keyshyra Reid, Tionna, Alaysia Echols, DeSean Lindley, Myron James, Ta'Ron, Ta'Nira Williams, Dwayne Reed, Mati, Jeremiah, and Rodney Lee III ; many nieces and nephews; godchildren Aaliyah Hood, Ashley, and Antoria Hood; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
