<p>Kaneisha Vintina Akins, also known as Apple, received her wings on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in South Bend, Indiana.</p><p><br></p><p>Kaneisha was born on July 15, 1976 to Edna Anderson and Jerry Wormely in Toledo, Ohio.</p><p><br></p><p>Kaneisha attended public schools in the Toledo Public School System and at one time took classes at the University of Toledo. She worked as a STNA for various agencies and facilities throughout the City of Toledo and was a Mary Kay representative.</p><p><br></p><p>Kaneisha was raised in a Christian environment, and her fellowships were at Jerusalem Baptist Church where she participated in the choirs; Family Baptist Church; and Rossford First Baptist Church. Kaneisha also was a member of the Toledo, Interfaith Mass Choir.</p><p><br></p><p>She maintained her memberships with a couple motorcycle clubs, and created friends and memories even after she had relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 2020.</p><p><br></p><p>Kaneisha was preceded in death by her mother; Edna Anderson-Akins, step-father; John Akins Sr., grandmother; Florence Anderson (Clark), grandfathers; Sanford Anderson, Sr. and Deacon John Wormely.</p><p><br></p><p>Kaneisha is survived by her father; Jerry Wormely, grandmother; Marie Wormely; her two daughters; Alize Harris and Janae Harris, three grandchildren; Zy'Rena, ZahRiyah and Rashard II, sister; Katavia Akins, brothers; Montrice Wormely and Loyer Johnson, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of special friends and associates.</p>
