Linda Joyce Lyons
<p>Linda Joyce Lyons, age 67, departed this life on August 11, 2021, in her home. She was born July 6, 1954 to Cleaven and Lola Lyons. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda attended Gunkel Elementary and Libbey High School.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was a kind-hearted person, and was loved and liked by all! Linda loved swimming. She was on the swimming team for City Park Pool. She won trophies and blue ribbons for swimming. She loved drinking Pepsi, shooting pool, scary movies, and western movies. She also loved to dress and wear wigs.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda Married Clifford McNeil in 1971. Eleven years later she married Kenneth Williams.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was employed by Clean Ware Laundry, Unitog, and later for the City of Toledo as a lifeguard at Highland Pool.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was preceded in death by both parents, Cleaven and Lola Lyons; one brother, Charles Lyons; two sisters, Sherry McClain and Kim Gibson.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda leaves to cherish her memory to her fiancé, George Givens; two sons, Kenneth Lyons and Steve McNeil, of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren, Megan Lyons, Ryan Lyons, Jada McNeil, Justin McNeil, Little Stevie, Jalea McNeil, Brea McNeil; three great grandchildren, Malaya, Jason, and Jordon Lyons; sisters, Lathena Lyons and Glynece Zimmerman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special nephew, Derrick Mitchell El. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.</p><p><br></p><p>The family of Linda Lyons is very thankful for the cards, plants, visits, phone calls, and prayers, and the many other things that were done to brighten the days ahead.</p>Obituary
